The Role:
Delivery Managers unblock issues, support the delivery team, and monitor and improve performance of the team. They use agile methodologies, learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs. They work with Product Managers to define the roadmap for products and services, remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput.
The Agile Delivery Support Officer works closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Solution Train Engineer (STE) to support the Agile Delivery Teams (ADTs) by coordinating cross-team activities and tracking ART-level metrics. The role provides senior-level support for the administration of matters relating to the rhythm of ART ceremonies including PI planning, ART syncs, system demos, showcases, retrospectives and mid-end PI progress sessions.
The role contributes to delivery alignment across product, technical and stakeholder dimensions and helps sustain momentum through effective collaboration. The role coordinates the flow of information by tracking and escalating changes to delivery scope, timing, or risk, and ensures these are processed through the correct governance channels.
In supporting the ART’s continuous improvement and delivery confidence, the role liaises with risk, schedule and dependency experts to ensure issues and blockers are surfaced early and managed with transparency.
Through structured coordination, agile administration, and disciplined support of ART governance activities, this role helps the ART stay aligned, on track, and outcome focused.
Skills and Experience Required:
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT with Hybrid working arrangements. 12 month contract with 1 x 12-month extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A Baseline security clearance is required for this role.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Mandatory Experience working in, administering or supporting projects or programs, preferably using an Agile methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a time-boxed, iterative delivery environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience pre-paring briefings, minutes, and program level reporting summaries.
- Strong attention to detail and experience in managing quality assurance (writing, editing, proof reading) of high volumes of correspondence, briefs, presentations and reports. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues to achieve outcomes.
- Confidence and ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and negotiate with team members, business areas and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Strong understanding of Agile Delivery and familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ways of working and artefacts.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including query building, dashboards setup, backlog maintenance and data extraction.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and prepare clear communication plans
