About the role:
We are seeking a Security Engineer with deep expertise in McAfee/Trellix Application Whitelisting (AWL), Endpoint Security (ENS), and ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). You’ll be responsible for managing endpoint security infrastructure, deploying whitelisting policies, and ensuring compliance with organisational security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a 6-month contract role based in Melbourne, commencing as soon as available. You’ll work on high-impact endpoint security initiatives in a compliance-driven environment.

About the role:
We are seeking a Security Engineer with deep expertise in McAfee/Trellix Application Whitelisting (AWL), Endpoint Security (ENS), and ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). You’ll be responsible for managing endpoint security infrastructure, deploying whitelisting policies, and ensuring compliance with organisational security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage application whitelisting policies, including exception handling and trust list creation.
- Administer ePO server environments, including database and policy management.
- Optimise endpoint security configurations for malware prevention and threat detection.
- Troubleshoot McAfee/Trellix platform issues and ensure operational stability.
- Support endpoint hardening across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.
- Integrate McAfee/Trellix solutions with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Leverage scripting tools (PowerShell, Python) and APIs for automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with McAfee/Trellix AWL, ENS, and ePO.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale endpoint security deployments.
- Solid understanding of application execution behaviours and threat mitigation.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, NIST).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
- McAfee Certified Product Specialist – ePO or ENS.
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
- Experience with vulnerability and patch management tools.
