The Role:
• Observe industry trends and shaping the Departments architecture direction to benefit from the new and emerging technologies, especially in the field of DevOps and Agile methodologies;
• Develop and maintain the ICT enterprise software architecture and architectural patterns that support and enhance DevOps/Agile for the
Department;
• Actively promote the disciplines of DevOps/Agileand contribute to the delivery of capability acrosa broad range of stakeholders;
• Participate in the governance bodies and boards to evaluate architectural documentation for ICT capabilities and systems and provide subject
matter expert advice;
• Direct and support solution architects, designersand system implementers in the development and delivery of DevOps/Agile strategy and practice;
• Work effectively in a small team environment;
• Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and
• Record and maintain files/information in accordance with Department requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:
Mandatory:
• Formal tertiary qualifications in an information technology related field or extensive demonstrated technical equivalent skills and experience
• Extensive experience in the field of DevOps and Agile methodologies
Highly Desirable:
• Development of enterprise delivery strategies based on DevOps and Agile
• Hands-on experience in the selection and implementation of appropriate tooling support
• Ability to work closely with delivery teams in a fast paced environment to embed practices/approaches using a consultative, collaborative approach
• Formal tertiary qualifications in an information technology related field or extensive demonstrated technical equivalent skills and experience
• Extensive experience in the field of DevOps and Agile methodologies
Highly Desirable:

• Hands-on experience in the selection and implementation of appropriate tooling support
• Ability to work closely with delivery teams in a fast paced environment to embed practices/approaches using a consultative, collaborative approach
• Experience in architecture governance and architecture risk management
• Experience in defining Business Architectures that are aligned to business capabilities and strategic priorities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
Desirable
• ArchiMate Modelling Language certification or demonstrated skills and experience in producing ArchiMate models of business processes, organizational structures and information flows
• Experience with Sparx Systems - Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge and understanding of PRINCE2
• Knowledge and understanding of ITIL
• Experience in defining Business Architectures that are aligned to business capabilities and strategic priorities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
