About the Role
This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced Defect Test Manager to lead defect lifecycle management across a large-scale Salesforce environment supporting up to 10 agile squads. About the Role
This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced Defect Test Manager to lead defect lifecycle management across a large-scale Salesforce environment supporting up to 10 agile squads. You’ll be responsible for triaging, tracking and resolving defects, while driving a culture of quality and accountability. The role involves daily coordination across squads, stakeholder engagement and governance leadership.
Key Highlights:
- 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option
- Hybrid working arrangements (minimum 3 days in-office)
- National locations available (ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA)
- Baseline clearance required
Key Criteria:
- 5+ years in defect/test management roles within large Agile programs
- Deep experience with Salesforce (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
- Advanced Jira & Xray expertise (dashboards, filters, traceability)
- Strong understanding of defect metrics and delivery risk
- Proven leadership in defect governance forums
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

You’ll bring:
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Certification (desirable)
- Experience in government, disability, or health-related sectors (desirable)
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and integration testing strategies
- A commitment to quality-first delivery and continuous improvement
- Exceptional attention to detail, accountability, and leadership
