Seeking an experienced Dynamics CRM Marketing Functional Consultant with experience configuring and using Microsoft Customer Insights - Journeys and Data
The Consultant will be responsible for leading the expansion and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics products—Customer Insights – Journeys and Data—by configuring and optimising existing features and enabling features not yet implemented.
This role involves close collaboration with internal teams including architects, solution developers, testers, business analysts and marketing personnel to identify opportunities, plan enhancements, and activate additional capabilities within the existing Dynamics 365 environment.
Key duties and responsibilities The Consultant must have knowledge and experience configuring and using Microsoft Customer Insights - Journeys and Data, specifically across both Real-time journeys and Event planning modules. You will have experience with the following in each module:
The Consultant will be responsible for facilitating and planning activities to optimise and expand the use of Dynamics 365 Marketing capabilities, with minimal disruption to existing operations. They will identify dependencies and assess potential impacts, using their expertise to proactively streamline marketing processes.
Essential criteria
1. Tertiary qualifications in an ICT related field or relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
2. Proven experience using and configuring features across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data products
3. Experience implementing and optimising Real-time journeys and Event planning modules to support Marketing and event activities and automation.
4. Strong understanding of Marketing tactics and technical solutions to support them
5. Technical proficiency in CRM systems and related technologies. Experience in data migration projects
6. Knowledge of Australian privacy laws and data protection regulations Familiarity with government IT systems and processes
Desirable criteria
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
3. Adaptability and quick learning in fast-paced environments
4. Attention to detail and commitment to quality, Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, Experience working with Australian government agencies
Contract: contract until 30 June 2026 with 1 x 6 months extension option
Security Required: Baseline Security Clearance required
Location - QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA and Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office

- Real-time journeys – segment and journey configuration and optimisation, advising on solutions to improve content personalisation, creating journey templates to support users with managing campaigns, emails, newsletters and implementing a solution to support a marketing attribution model.
- Event planning – optimising event management for users including building and enhancing event registration form templates and processes, optimising event submissions and data capture.
