About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Engineer to lead the implementation and management of endpoint protection technologies including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, McAfee ePO, ENS/EDR, and Application Whitelisting (AWL). The role involves policy enforcement, agent infrastructure management, and automation using SCCM, Intune, and Ansible, while ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and PCI-DSS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a 6-month contract role based in Melbourne, commencing as soon as available. You’ll work on high-impact endpoint security initiatives in a compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, administer, and optimise endpoint protection platforms.
- Manage agent infrastructure and policy enforcement across enterprise endpoints.
- Automate configuration and compliance tasks using SCCM, Intune, and Ansible.
- Implement security controls aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell and YAML.
- Support cross-platform agent deployment and endpoint hardening.
- 5+ years in endpoint security and infrastructure management.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Defender, McAfee ePO, ENS/EDR, and AWL.
- Strong knowledge of SCCM, Intune, and Ansible.
- Experience with compliance frameworks and automation scripting.
- Microsoft Security Operations Analyst or Endpoint Administrator certification.
- McAfee Certified Product Specialist (ePO, ENS, EDR, AWL).
- CISA, CISM, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with Linux endpoint protection and Zero Trust architecture.
