Overview
Our large Government client is seeking an experienced Governance Lead (level 5) to join their team, based in Canberra. This Department is seeking both provision of data and capability. Facilitation of these tasking’s requires maintenance of data management capability with analytic and digital forensic functions, including a team of resources to support the required activities.
The area also supports a number of ICT platforms used for the collection, transport, normalisation and presentation of audit logging events for use in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications. These systems require technical specialists to ensure the integrity, quality and assurance of data collected to support security investigations.
The requirement for these Services is due to niche technical, analytical and governance skills and experience is required, owing to the complex nature and highly sensitive environment.

Location and Contract Term
The role is based in Canberra ACT, with a contract term of 12 months + 2x12 month extensions.
Security Requirements
To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold current TSPV (top secret positive vetting) clearance.

- Database administration experience including Elasticsearch.
- Experience with configuration and management of VMWare vSphere and/or Hyper-V virtualisation environments.
- Experience with network attached storage appliances including NetApp systems.
- Network infrastructure configuration including firewall and switch management.
- Security application sustainment support experience including Nuix, Splunk or Stroom.
- Extensive experience with ICT system administration and development to provide SME advice and support to ITIS analysts and management.
- Red Hat Linux, Kubernetes, Docker experience is also desirable.
- Create, maintain and upgrade governance documentation suites relating to data, application, system and security adminstration.
