Our federal government client is seeking a talented and driven HCL Notes Java Developer. You will deliver to maintain and support the fleet of existing business critical HCL Notes/Domino applications.

This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT. Initial contract for 12 months and high chance to be extended.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants must be Australian citizen and must have NV1 Security clearance and candidate will be required to maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.

About the role:
- Design and develop application systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Utilize your expertise in OSGi plugins, Vertx, Apache Karaf, Gradle, BndTools, and Java (versions 1.8 through 17).
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and related web technologies.
- Apply your in-depth knowledge of HCL Notes Domino (versions 9 through 12.0.2) in the design and implementation of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
About you:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in application system design.
- Proven experience with OSGi plugins, Vertx, Apache Karaf, Gradle, BndTools, and Java (1.8 through 17).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and related web technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of HCL Notes Domino (versions 9 through 12.0.2).
- Highly developed skills in application design, development, and implementation, specifically related to HCL Notes/Domino.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
