Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for an experienced Security Systems Engineer and Analytics Specialist required to develop and enhance our cleints security systems. The service provider will be responsible for engineering activities and tasks relating to requirements development, system definition, design and development, integration, verification and validation. This role will include responsibility for implementation of major analytic-driven activities to meet required business outcomes.
Skills and Knowledge:
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement but not exceeding 30 June 2025
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven knowledge of information security principles, practices and technologies.
- Experience with ICT security applications such as a SIEM (e.g. Arcsight, Splunk), and data analytic platforms.
- Experience with Windows and Windows security tools
- Experience with *nix systems and *nix security tools
- Execute systems engineering tasks in the design, development, deployment and sustainment of security capabilities.
- Develop complex analytics across large and varied datasets to achieve insights and answer security-based business requirements.
- Deliver technical visualisation of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers.
- Establish use cases, procedures and technical documentation to ensure delivery of security services.
