About the role
Starting in July, as a member of the SAP Security team, you will get the chance to participate in new and existing SAP HANA Application Security implementations. You’ll find your role has a unique look, combining both strong technical and business skills.
The preference for this role is to be based in Ballarat, however candidates located in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth will also be considered. It is mandatory to be based onsite in one of these locations 5 days per week.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold current Baseline Security Clearance, preferred to have NV1 clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide services in the implementation, configuration, and management of SAP HANA Application Security.
- Be part of security assessments, risk identification, and mitigation strategies for SAP HANA systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in SAP HANA application security.
The successful candidate
- 1 – 2 years as a Consultant or similar role in SAP HANA Application Security.
- Good knowledge of SAP HANA system architecture, database security, and user authorization concepts.
- Experience in implementing and managing security controls such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and data encryption.
- Experience with SAP HANA security tools like SAP HANA Cockpit, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
