About the role
This Junior Network Security Engineer role involves overseeing, managing, and advising customers on the organisations product and service offerings. Additionally, you will conduct Change Management, Incident Resolution, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and maintaining gateway availability for our customers.
This role requires working 12-hour day and night shifts on a 24/7 roster. The roster is similar to a 5-days-on, 5-days-off schedule.

About the role
This Junior Network Security Engineer role involves overseeing, managing, and advising customers on the organisations product and service offerings. Additionally, you will conduct Change Management, Incident Resolution, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and maintaining gateway availability for our customers.

Role Responsibilities
- Change Management, including the preparation and implementation of Changes on a number of Gateways
- Device configurations – routers, firewalls, proxy's DNS servers and load Balancers.
- Incident Resolution will require you to work with our customers to troubleshoot/diagnose un-intended network traffic issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant work experience.
- One or more years’ experience in an IT/Networking or similar role.
- One or more years’ experience working with Linux, DNS, Firewalls, F5, VMware, Proxies and Email Gateway appliances.
