They are seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team and contribute to the development and management of their Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing, developing, and shaping the client's PKI. Key responsibilities include:
- Regularly reviewing and updating existing PKI-related artefacts, including the core PKI and Gatekeeper-endorsed PKI documentation set of the Certificate Practice Statement (CPS) and all related x509 Certificate Policies (CP).
- Providing advice, guidance, and reporting to the PKI Policy Board.
- Liaising with relevant high-level areas to ensure PKI policies have full legal and financial endorsement.
- Supporting projects seeking PKI support through meetings and documentation review.
- Actively participating in supporting international outcomes and agreements related to PKI, including attending teleconferences and actioning items as directed by the PKI Operations Manager.
- Assisting the PKI Operations Manager with the yearly PKI audit, including preparation, response to audit findings, and reporting to Gatekeeper and the PKI Policy Board via the Common Certificate Authorities Database (CCADB).
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Smartcards
- Card Management Systems
- Middleware software and infrastructure (card readers, drivers, and applet middleware) in a Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
- Gatekeeper
- Certification Authority Browser Forum (CA/B) Forum
- Policy development in the international arena, particularly within the "Five Eyes" community
- PKI-related policy development
- Contract until 30 June 2025, with an option for a 12-month extension.
