We have a requirement for multiple highly skilled Project Managers (SFIA 5) to work on a variety of projects and programs with our client in Canberra, ACT. Our client seeks Project Managers who can think critically and utilise their excellent problem solving skills, as well as undertake negotiations, delegate effectively, and make timely decisions.

Location: This role is required to be performed in Canberra, ACT.
Contract terms: 12 month contract. Part time Engagements may be considered.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes at a SFIA Level of Responsibility 5
Security Requirements: Current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance OR have held a TSPV in the previous 12 month period (which has since been downgraded). Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.

Major Responsibilities:
- Bulld and sustain relationships and liaise with a range of stakeholders including other teams, peers and colleagues to deliver ICT projects.
- Lead complex ICT projects or elements of a project ensuring that time, cost and quality targets are achieved.
- Lead requirements definition and scoping activities in order to clarify and define the scope of projects
- Coordinate and manage human and financial resources for the delivery of the project.
- Establish and maintain project planning artefacts in accordance with the endorsed project management methods and ensure their continued suitability to define, control and manage all work associated with a project.
- Undertake risk management through the delivery of the project to identify, analyse, evaluate, treat and review the risks and issues associated with delivering the requirement. Proactively engage with stakeholders in relation to risks and issues management.
- Manage and lead the deployment of complex ICT capabilities into the business in a way that is compatible with business operations
Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Have knowledge or understanding of legislative frameworks, government decision-making and policy requirements.
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver projects in a resource constrained environment.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or other project management applications.
