Our client, focused on National Security, is looking for a Project Finance Officer with Positive Vetting level clearance (PV) for a 12-month contract (with extension options) to operate from their Canberra (ACT) location.
The successful candidate will work as a Project Finance Officer who’s areas of responsibility include project accounting, audit, budgetary controls, procurement, monitoring and reporting of project and financial performance/progress.
Key duties:
Areas of responsibility include project accounting, audit, budgetary controls, procurement, monitoring and reporting of project and financial performance/progress.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of the project in accordance with Commonwealth Rules and Regulations and provide effective administration of finances and budgets, including management of project record keeping requirements and systems; secretariat support for project meetings; development of briefs, monthly reports and budget plans.
