Our Large Federal Government client is seeking a Security Architect who will assist and work closely with the engineering staff and Authorities responsible for describing the cyber security threats and risks with delivery of a solution.
The Security Architect will assist with and contribute to the development of a range of security documents required for the accreditation of Cyber Security capabilities whilst working cohesively and flexibly with the industry stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities:
Contract terms: Up to 24 months
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

Major Responsibilities:
- Identify security requirements by reviewing business strategies and contributing to threat risk assessment activities; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments.
- Review existing system security measures, recommend and implement enhancements.
- Develop, deliver and update System Accreditation Plan (SAP), Security Risk Management Plan (SRMP) and other relevant documents to ensure Capability solution architecture/design(s) are able to sufficiently mitigate the identified threats.
- Analyse, design and deliver documentation supporting the security posture of a range of cyber security capabilities.
