About the Role
We are seeking a Solution Architect with a strong background in electricity networks and operational technology (OT) to join a high-profile project based in Perth, WA. This is a 12-month contract role offering the opportunity to work on a critical transformation initiative within the utilities sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing end-to-end solutions across OT and IT environments.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across business, IT, and customer domains.
- Leading solution architecture from requirements gathering through to production implementation.
- Producing high-quality documentation including procedures, guidelines, and operational manuals.
- Supporting integration of custom and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multi-vendor environment and enjoys translating complex requirements into actionable solutions.
The Successful Candidate
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Business Analysis, and System Analysis.
- Strong understanding of Operational Technology and ICT infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, databases, servers, security).
- Familiarity with platforms such as Azure, Jboss, and Java.
- Experience in utilities or energy sector projects is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
