Systems & Network Administrator
Our federal government client is on the lookout for an experienced Systems & Network Administrator. You will be responsible for administration of the Agency’s Cloud and M365 environments. As well as the general administration of the Agency on-premise infrastructure as part of the IT Engineering, Systems and Operations Section, under the broad direction of the Manager, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Network Engineering.

This role is being offered to those in ACT/NSW/QLD. Initial contract for 4 months and high chance to be extended.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants to be Australian citizen and successful candidates will be required to must be able to obtain a Negative Vet 1 and maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.

About the role:
- Provide expertise and technical knowledge in specialist area across a range of programs or activities for the Agency.
- Ensure quality outputs for a team including the development of specialist, professional and/or technical expertise. Conduct regular quality assurance of work area processes and manage identified risks.
- Make decisions using good judgement, expertise and knowledge, under limited guidance. Ensure decisions are governed by the application of regulations, best practice principles or the agency’s operating instructions and procedures.
- Monitor changes in the broader work environment that may impact on work objectives.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.
Experience to succeed in this role:
- Extensive experience with the day-to-day administration of Microsoft Azure environments
- Extensive experience with the day-to-day administration of M365.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
- Experience with migrating On-Premise Windows Servers to Azure
