Looking for a competent engineer to Assist in the further Development of an ongoing Major project.
The Role:
Background
The TEMP is a mandatory Gate 1 product and must be finalised by IC in mid-July 2019. The TEMP assists the capability manager to introduce operational infrastructure into safe and effective service, thereby achieving the integrated investment plan’s (IIP) objective of remediating and modernising critical life support capability in deployed environments.
The Program requires a TEMP manager to further develop and finalise the project documentation (already drafted), and to then use this to inform and develop the program level TEMP.
The TEMP Manager will ensure the document is mature for the project’s Investment Committee approval in July 2019 and can be defined as the project approaches First Pass approval in November 2019 and Second Pass approval in 2021.
The TEMP shall be developed in accordance with the interim T&E manual and will define all the T&E requirement including preview T&E to inform future acquisitions through to acceptance T&E of down-selected products. Development of the TEMP will require a high degree of consultation across Services and other groups.
The TEMP Manager will write and manage the program and ongoing project TEMPs.
Skills and Experience Required:
The statement of duties for this position includes, but is not limited to, the following:
· Finalise draft TEMP;
· Liaise with Stakeholder for the details of the systems to be tested and the testing outcomes required;
· Attend the Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings;
· Provide T&E advice to the Project Manager;
· Plan, Conduct and Report trial activities;
In conjunction with the Project Manager, establish a schedule of delivery times for document delivery and clearance;
Support relevant projects through the Capability Life Cycle where T&E is involved;
Write Test and Evaluation Management Plans and other related documentation as required for the project/program;
Advise Programs on development and implementation of Test and Evaluation plans and other evidence-based decision support tools;
Review Test and Evaluation Master Plans; and
Identify relevant T&E work being conducted or already completed and provide summary findings to inform future trials and to avoid duplication.
