The Web Operations Engineer is accountable under broad direction to undertake complex web service administration, integration and problem management in an operational environment, managing changes, outages, upgrades and patches.
The team implements, supports and replaces its web services, through software development, business analysis and service delivery (support) functions including answering customer calls and performing Level 2 and 3 support after Service Desk triage of initial requests.

Skills and Knowledge required
1. Essential - Experience with PHP based software (such as but not limited to Drupal and Wordpress).
2. Essential - experience with installation and configuration of open source software packages into a Linux environment.
3. Desirable - Linux system administration qualifications such as RHCT/RHCE.
4. Desirable – experience with Linux command line scripting for data-processing or data-manipulation automation such as in PERL or BASH.
5. Desirable - Experience administering / configuring any of Apache / nginx / MySQL / PostgreSQL / MariaDB.
6. Desirable - Experience with web-based content management systems in general and content management concepts such as revision history, content types, role based access control, metadata.

The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Must hold either a current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance OR have held a TSPV in the previous 12 month period (which has since been downgraded).
