Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for a Data Architect who will be a highly organised, dynamic, outcome orientated individual with excellent communication skills. The Data Architect will be accountable under the general direction of the Project Director/Project Manager for the planning, analysis and investigation of data flows and formats using specialised knowledge and tools. While the key functions of the role will be to support data integration, it may be expanded to additional projects.
This will involve working with business stakeholders, project managers, systems architects and other groups as required, to define the solutions, work to ready the business to accept it, and deliver the change into the business areas in order to achieve the required benefits.
Skills and Knowledge:
Contract terms: Contract terms between 12 and 24 months will be considered
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding and demonstrated application of current architectural design patterns, standards, technologies and techniques including architectural frameworks.
- Contribute to the validation and verification of requirements, with particular reference to data volumes, flows, storage and integration.
- Manage Data driven target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the program, and gaining endorsement by the program’s Technical Authority.
- Define the data architecture framework, standards and principles, including modelling, metadata, security, reference data and master data
