The Role:
The Data Remediation Analyst provides advanced application support to both internal and external stakeholders of the Departments program. The role works closely with associated Business areas, internal technical teams, and the departments Contact Centre to identify and resolve complex data issues. The role also assists with the mentorship of junior staff and develops strategies for ongoing data improvement. The position ensures that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable; ensuring that it can be used appropriately in further downstream systems
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT, it is a part-time contract, 24 hours per week. 12-month contract with 1 x 12-month extension option pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain is required.

- Resolve complex system data issues;
- work within Siebel CRM to analyse incidents and data fix applicable records;
- work directly with relevant Level 3 support groups and associated Business teams to detail investigation and achieve a resolution
- identify and escalate incidents which may adversely impact on operations and service delivery to users;
- provide thorough investigations and troubleshooting of issues by reviewing design and functional specification documentation;
- assist in the development and implementation of new operational procedures / initiatives;
- train, create SOPs, and support staff on data quality standards and data handling best practices;
- work on rotating rostered hours (between 8am and 5.30pm). Provide on-call support when required, and the occasional weekend work (Technical Verification Testing, etc);
- show a dedication to service delivery excellence through an ongoing commitment to improving the level of support
