As the Procurements and Contracts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in a major transformation program, managing procurement activities (RFQs, RFTs) and overseeing contract management for key ICT initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Commercial and Program Finance, you’ll ensure compliance, probity, and strategic alignment with government frameworks.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full procurement lifecycle, including documentation, evaluations, and negotiations.
- Provide first-line probity advice and ensure ethical procurement practices.
- Maintain contract registers, draft key documentation, and support contract performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver best-practice outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of ACT Government procurement legislation and frameworks.
- Proven experience in procurement and contract management in a government setting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant qualifications in procurement and contract management.
- ACT Government Baseline clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Based in Gungahlin, ACT with flexible working arrangements.
- Activity-Based Working (ABW) environment.
