About the role
We are seeking a GPS specialist to meet the range of operational intelligence analysis tasks required ,with a particular focus on the integration of gender and culture into intelligence analysis and operational planning.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct all-source analysis on the human dimension of operational activities, with a focus on women, peace, security, gender, and culture, primarily using classified ICT systems.
- Produce intelligence reports independently or collaboratively on regional and global areas relevant to whole-of-government interests.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of gender and cultural policy advice to support intelligence assessments and operational planning.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify gender and cultural considerations during the planning and evaluation of operational activities.
- Provide expert advice to operational staff and planners on gender and cultural aspects of intelligence assessments and mission planning
- The contract period is 12 months, with 2X12 extension options.
