About the role:
We are seeking a seasoned IAM Program Lead / Architect to drive the strategic direction, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide IAM programs. You’ll oversee identity lifecycle management, platform integrations, and stakeholder engagement across workforce and CIAM environments.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a 6-month contract role based in Melbourne or Sydney, commencing as soon as available. You’ll lead enterprise IAM transformation and governance in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.

About the role:
We are seeking a seasoned IAM Program Lead / Architect to drive the strategic direction, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide IAM programs. You’ll oversee identity lifecycle management, platform integrations, and stakeholder engagement across workforce and CIAM environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IAM strategy, roadmap, and execution across workforce and customer identity platforms.
- Architect and govern IAM solutions including Okta, SailPoint IdentityNow, and supporting technologies.
- Manage identity lifecycle, access provisioning, RBAC, and access reviews.
- Drive incident response and root cause analysis for IAM-related issues.
- Align IAM capabilities with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Integrate IAM with systems like Active Directory, Azure AD, ServiceNow, Workday, and cloud/SaaS platforms.
- Mentor cross-functional IAM teams and foster technical excellence.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, policies, and operational documentation.
- Stay current with IAM trends and vendor roadmaps.
- Report program status, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders.
- 16+ years in IAM with leadership in enterprise-scale environments.
- Expertise in Okta (Workforce & CIAM), SailPoint IdentityNow, and IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Oracle Directory Services, LDAP, CyberArk, RSA, Radiator, Microsoft Entra ID.
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR, and CCPA compliance standards.
- Okta and/or SailPoint certifications (Architect, Professional).
- Experience with Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID.
- Background in telecom or service provider environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and DevOps/CI-CD experience.
