Scrum Master
About the role:
A Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating agile delivery across complex technical projects, including mobile app development, UX/UI design, web portals, APIs, and data engineering. They guide teams through planning and execution phases, ensuring deliverables align with project goals and agile principles. Their role includes supporting the development of design and test artefacts, coordinating daily with stakeholders such as testers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to validate outputs and resolve issues efficiently. They also manage progress reporting through tools like Jira and daily stand-ups, fostering transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Mandatory Requirement:
Citizenship Requirement: Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
Highly Desirable Requirement:
Government Clearance: Minimum baseline government or NV-1 clearance.

Key responsibilities will include:
- At least 3+ years' experience facilitating the delivery of complex projects using Agile methodologies.
- A strong understanding of the SAFe methodology and its application within a large and complex program, preferably within a government context.
- Collaborate with business analysts to make sure all user stories are prepared for the sprints.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues to achieve outcomes.
- Experience effectively managing competing priorities and strategic directions, with an ability to remain calm under pressure and respond flexibly to change and uncertainty.
- Proficiency in using various IT applications and project management tools, including Jira Confluence.
- Tertiary qualifications or industry recognised certification in management, project management, or a similar field.
- Demonstrated work experience managing/delivering large-scale ICT transformation programs/projects in an Australian Government setting.
- Exposure to technical projects that involved data migrations, large case management or information management systems.

- Experience working in government or public sector environments.
