Technical Business Analyst
About the role:
A Technical Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by contributing to a wide range of activities across the software development lifecycle. This includes involvement in mobile app and web portal development, UX/UI design, API and solution architecture, and full stack and data engineering. They play a key role in planning and producing deliverables across project phases, developing design documentation, code, and test cases aligned with requirements. They support testing activities, coordinate daily with stakeholders such as testers, business analysts, subject matter experts, and vendors to validate artefacts and resolve defects, and report progress through tools like Jira and daily stand-ups to ensure transparency.
Mandatory Requirement:
Citizenship Requirement: Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
Highly Desirable Requirement:
Government Clearance: Minimum baseline government or NV-1 clearance.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years, working in a similar role performing business analysis activities including workshop facilitation, supporting the successful delivery of high-impact and high-value initiatives that lead to meaningful change.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with technical SME's to define and obtain an understanding of business needs, technical constraints, and technical concepts and present them in simple terms.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing multiple business stakeholders, establishing effective working relationships with stakeholders, and effectively liaise and keep stakeholders informed and engaged, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven experience in roles relating to cloud platforms (preferably Amazon Web Services) including delivery of new services, and mobile application and/or web application development.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, cultivating productive working relationships across multiple projects and business areas.
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency.
- Demonstrated experience and flexibility to adapt to agile and waterfall processes to deliver projects.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in a constantly changing and fast paced environment with challenging deadlines.
