About the role: The Integration Lead position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and security of financial operations within the Greater Sydney / Planning and Programs business unit. This role involves streamlining processes by automating repetitive and complex tasks, reducing the risk of human error, and ensuring consistency across various financial transactions and reports. This approach enables quicker validation of critical functions such as cash management, liquidity forecasting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. By implementing automation testing, Treasury teams can enhance their operational reliability, accelerate time-to-market for new processes, and maintain high standards of accuracy in financial reporting.

By implementing automation testing, Treasury teams can enhance their operational reliability, accelerate time-to-market for new processes, and maintain high standards of accuracy in financial reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage a team of professional staff and experts to deliver advice and recommendations into infrastructure works to ensure optimal integration of traffic during planning, construction, and operational stages of major infrastructure works
- Manage the integration, analysis, and assessment of traffic management plans and strategies across multiple complex projects
- Oversee and endorse the evaluation of proposed traffic volumes, models, and conditions outlined in planning documents for major infrastructure projects
- Represent The Department at major planning and project meetings with a range of government agencies
- Monitor, promote, and guide the implementation of best practice construction strategies
- Influence other units and teams at The Department to adopt optimal environmental, traffic modelling, and heritage strategies
- Interface with the proponents of major infrastructure projects to manage construction and operational matters
- Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure all stakeholders are effectively engaged and informed
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport planning, or a related discipline and/or extensive relevant experience
- Strong understanding and experience in traffic modelling across a range of projects
- Demonstrated high-level expertise in transport systems management and traffic engineering practice
