This is a contract role based in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, or Adelaide, commencing as soon as available. You’ll work on high-impact mobile development projects in a secure, agile environment.

About the role:
We are seeking a Mobile App Developer with strong experience in native Android/iOS development and React Native. You’ll be responsible for building accessible, high-performance mobile applications, integrating with APIs and services, and contributing across the full SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and release mobile apps for Android and iOS using Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, and React Native.
- Convert UI designs into mobile components and collaborate with UX/UI designers.
- Integrate with back-end APIs and services including Firebase and CMS platforms.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across mobile platforms.
- Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Write automated unit, integration, and functional tests; collaborate with QA teams.
- Contribute across the SDLC: design, development, deployment, code reviews, and maintenance.
- Extensive experience in mobile app development across Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and cloud services.
- Strong testing and QA collaboration skills.
- Ability to work across all stages of the SDLC.
- Experience in early-stage mobile app development and tool selection.
- React and TypeScript development for web applications.
- Back-end development using Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Strong ownership, adaptability, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience in government or public sector environments.
- Australian Citizenship.
- Baseline or NV-1 Government Security Clearance.
