About the Role:
Working with a Federal Government end client, they are seeking a skilled & detail-oriented Performance Test engineer with hands-on experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner (Min 4 year experience)
You will be responsible to ensure scalability, reliability and responsiveness of the applications under varying load conditions

About the Role:
Working with a Federal Government end client, they are seeking a skilled & detail-oriented Performance Test engineer with hands-on experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner (Min 4 year experience)
You will be responsible to ensure scalability, reliability and responsiveness of the applications under varying load conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements.
- Identify critical test scenarios for load tests.
- Design performance test scripts using LoadRunner.
- Execute peak test, stress test, endurance tests etc.
- Monitor the system health during the runs using provided APM.
- Identify performance bottlenecks & work with Dev teams to resolve.
- Publish comprehensive & detailed reports to the client.
- Work in coordination with different teams.
- Mentor the other resources in the team
- Strong experience with LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis etc.)
- Proficiency across different protocols – Web (http/html), Web Services, etc.
- Strong foundation & experience of the load testing concepts - requirements gathering, workload design & analysis, test plan compilation, scripting, execution, reporting, bottleneck detection, etc.
- Apt knowledge for system health monitoring – proven monitoring experience.
- Understanding of software performance metrics and KPIs.
- A good understanding of systems in different terrain/platforms – Cloud, On-Premises, etc.
- Nice to have ALM-PC hands-on skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Team Player, collaborative, articulator
What is on offer:
- This is a contract position and can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide or Perth.
