The Project Manager will manage a diverse range of technical Information Communications and Technology (ICT) projects The Project Manager is responsible for contributing to the planning and implementation of projects, including defining the scope and requirements, developing plans and schedules, managing the project’s budget, overseeing and planning resource allocation and work packages, managing risks and issues and communicating formally and informally on the project’s progress.
The Project Manager will oversee projects under limited direction. The Project Manager will be a highly organised, dynamic, outcome orientated individual with excellent communication skills who can think critically and utilise their excellent problem solving skills, as well as undertake negotiations, delegate effectively, and make timely decisions.
Skills and Knowledge:
Contract terms: 24 months from Commencement.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT systems design and development processes and experience in reviewing technical documentation.
- Exceptional organisational skills to work in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding of large complex government department procurement procedures and regulations.
- Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to team members, and to delegate responsibility.
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver projects in a resource constrained environment.
- Lead complex ICT projects in the planning, management and delivery of new capability and system enhancements.
- Engage with stakeholders and conduct requirements definition and scoping activities to clarify and define the scope of projects. Organise travel where required
- Achieve project deliverables in accordance with the approved project scope.
- Plan and manage phases of system development or enhancement including requirement analysis, system design, testing, implementation and transition to operations.
- Manage procurements in a timeframe supporting the wider project requirements.
