About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer (EL1 equivalent) to support the delivery of a major cyber data management initiative. You’ll work closely with development teams to build and maintain robust, automated environments that enable rapid and secure service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
The Successful Candidate
To be considered, you must be an Australian citizen with a minimum NV1 security clearance. Candidates with a current Defence-recognised Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) are highly preferred. You must also be willing to undergo the OSA process prior to engagement.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT.
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus potential extensions
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizens with a minimum Negative Vetting One (NV1) security clearance. An OSA (Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.

About the Role

- Driving observability practices across platform tools
- Enhancing release engineering and developer productivity
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
- Managing infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Leading systems integration and process improvements
- Supporting disaster recovery planning and documentation
The Successful Candidate
