About the role:
Consulting Engineer
As a Consulting Engineer, you will help customers plan, design, and implement Cisco products, services, and solutions. You will drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects and accounts. Your role will involve working with customers to plan, design, configure, and diagnose Cisco’s suite of products, services, and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes. You will assist customers with the integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance, support presale activities, and translate business requirements into solution designs
Key responsibilities:
This contract is available for an initial 2-year term with possible extensions. Located in Sydney, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement

About the role:
Consulting Engineer
As a Consulting Engineer, you will help customers plan, design, and implement Cisco products, services, and solutions. You will drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects and accounts. Your role will involve working with customers to plan, design, configure, and diagnose Cisco’s suite of products, services, and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes. You will assist customers with the integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance, support presale activities, and translate business requirements into solution designs
Key responsibilities:
- Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects/accounts.
- Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance.
- Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve and validate complex problems and compatibility issues.
- Align technical deliverables to customer business outcomes.
- Comply with and support company policies and processes
- Work extensively with customers and internal/external resources on strategy, deployment, and optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
- Take a leadership role in the execution of delivery projects.
- Create, review, and approve project deliverables such as Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/Change Management Plans.
- Leverage software skills and tools to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent, plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- Senior network engineer with IPFM and preferably broadcast experience
- Strong background in Enterprise Network architecture design and deployment.
- Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching solutions, including ISIS, OSPF, BGP.
- Understanding of Cisco SDA, DNA-Center, SDWAN, and Campus networks, including Meraki.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Perl is desirable
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE Certifications or equivalent experience
