About the Role: The role involves comprehensive program management, stakeholder engagement, agreement transition and grant guidelines development for a national program.
Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Assess the impacts of ODA graduation on development policy and program management, focusing on procurement and contracting.
- Develop and implement a transition plan and roadmap for the entire program.
- Coordinate and monitor workstreams, providing progress updates and recommendations to senior officials.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders
- Conduct stakeholder analysis of external partners, managing contractors, delivery partners and project beneficiaries.
- Develop and implement change management and communication strategies to address the needs of different stakeholder groups during the transition.
- Review and renew existing agreements with funding scheduled post-January 2026, ensuring alignment with Commonwealth Grants, Rules and Principles and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Draft and amend necessary agreements and s23 minutes.
- Develop grant guidelines, including options for various investment levels.
- Streamline the development and approval processes for grant guidelines.
- Collaborate with other Government Departments to finalise and secure approval of grant guidelines.
- Must hold a NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance
- Relevant qualifications and /or demonstrated experience at a senior level, aligned to the role requirements
- Must hold a valid Australian Passport
