About the Role
Our client, focused on National Security, is looking for a Service Desk Analysts with Positive Vetting level clearance (PV) for a 12-month contract (with extension options) to operate from their Adelaide SA .
The successful candidate will work as a Service Desk Analyst who will often the first point of contact and assist users and other support staff in resolving issues reported by users. They routinely provision new IT services and equipment to users and manage faulty and obsolete end-user equipment.

The successful candidate will work as a Service Desk Analyst who will often the first point of contact and assist users and other support staff in resolving issues reported by users. They routinely provision new IT services and equipment to users and manage faulty and obsolete end-user equipment.
Key duties
- Accountable to respond to support requests by providing information to enable problem resolution and promptly refer unresolved calls as appropriate.
- Accountable to ensure that documentation is available and in an appropriate format for those providing or receiving support.
- Understand and apply knowledge of the general features and capabilities of the Australian Signals Directorate and current industry accepted hardware and software products.
- Research and explain vendor products and organisational policies to stakeholders.
Our ideal candidates will bring the following attributes:
- Intermediate practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server products, including use of Always-On Availability Groups.
- Experience using scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) to support the SQL Server software and streamline or automate daily database management activities.
- Experience following software development methodologies, such as Agile and SCRUM
- Familiarity and experience with version control and automated build/test systems such as Git and CI/CD platforms
