Location and Contract Term
This role can be based in ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC, or offsite, with an estimated start date of 9 August for 12 months with a 12 month extension.
Security Requirements
Applicants must be Australian Citizens who currently hold NV1 security clearance minimum. Successful applicants are required to undertake an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) during the first year of their engagement to determine their suitability to work in a high security environment.

Essential
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of:
- Systems Engineering practice, design patterns, standards and information systems technologies
- Information system security principles, practices and technologies
- ICT platform and platform services including on premise, hybrid and cloud based platforms and physical and virtual hosting environments
- Systems engineering practices and process for Cyber Security and ICT systems, including management of requirements, specifications, design, build, engineering process reviews, integration and testing
- Managing technical and engineering risk
- Managing technical and/or engineering governance (such as Program Design Authority)
- Guiding the delivery of a range of ICT solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers, colleagues and technical teams
- Leading Systems Engineering planning activities including development of Product Breakdown Structures, planning ICT product delivery and engineering activities
- Operational Concept Document (OCD)
- Function and Performance Specifications (FPS)
- System security design
- System accreditation artefacts
- System Specifications (SS)
- Detailed Design (DD) documentation
- Interface Control Documents (ICD)
- Configuration control documents; and
- Systems Risk Register
Desirable
Demonstrated experience leading engineering practices and processes in an Organisation using Dev Ops or SAFE agile
Demonstrated experience as an Agile Release Train Engineer or Architect
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
- Transition in and/or transition out of outsourced arrangements
- Implementation of service delivery and service management arrangements supporting production ICT systems
- Implementation of ongoing system sustainment arrangements
