The Cloud Infrastructure Developer will work to the Technical Team Lead. The position will require you to work within a team of like-minded individuals, you will primarily work in a fast-paced infrastructure & development environment with the freedom to independently approach, own and solve key problem sets.
The Role:
Contract terms: between 12 and 24 months will be considered.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

The Role:
- Manage critical enterprise infrastructure, underpinning mission systems
- Rapidly learn new technologies by applying industry best-practices and applying your extensive knowledge and experience.
- Provide complex application and system support, including managing incidents, changes, unplanned outages, upgrades and patches.
- Preferably be experienced using Kubernetes, AWS and OpenStack Technologies.
- Strong experience deploying and maintaining enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
- Strong experience building, deploying, upgrading & administering Linux/Unix machines. Experience of Linux/Unix shell scripting.
- 3+ years' experience in a role involving development, operations or system administration.
- Experience developing scripts for build, deployment, maintenance and related tasks using tools/languages, such as, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Python and Bash.
- Experience working in AWS and OpenStack technologies.
- Deploy, maintain and manage systems, services and infrastructure, including automation of system provisioning, management and monitoring.
- Work with the development and support teams to create and maintain scalable, flexible and highly reliable systems, including the management of incidents, changes, unplanned outages, upgrades and patches.
- Use repeatable process automation, including Administering development, reference and operational systems.
- Undertake the installation, management, maintenance, and monitoring of virtual and containerised systems.
