About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Cognos Specialist to provide expert-level support in Cognos implementation and administration. This role will contribute to reducing the Cognos backlog and supporting financial modelling efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure the stability and performance of Cognos BI environments.

This is a contract role for 834.5 hours over 6 months, commencing 1st July 2025 through to 30th December 2025. The role offers flexibility to work remotely and/or onsite depending on project needs.

About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Cognos Specialist to provide expert-level support in Cognos implementation and administration. This role will contribute to reducing the Cognos backlog and supporting financial modelling efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure the stability and performance of Cognos BI environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general Cognos administration support, including Cognos BI.
- Assist the team in building and maintaining financial models.
- Help reduce the existing Cognos backlog through proactive issue resolution and system optimisation.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Cognos environments in line with client requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting and analytics needs are met.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in Cognos administration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of Cognos BI tools and reporting environments.
- Ability to support financial modelling initiatives.
- Willingness to work across both remote and onsite environments as needed.
- Experience with Cognos EP models is desirable but not essential.
- Australian citizen.
- Canberra-based preferred. Remote working available for out of state candidates!
- NV1 security clearance preferred; Baseline clearance required.
