About the role
As the Cyber Range Network Engineer is required to understand how the cyber range operates and have a strong appreciation for what is required to support its sustainment of functionally and implementation of enhancements. You will be responsible for leading, planning, executing, managing and monitoring the cyber range design through to delivery, and according to predetermined timelines and budgets.

About the role
As the Cyber Range Network Engineer is required to understand how the cyber range operates and have a strong appreciation for what is required to support its sustainment of functionally and implementation of enhancements. You will be responsible for leading, planning, executing, managing and monitoring the cyber range design through to delivery, and according to predetermined timelines and budgets.
Role Responsibilities
- Develops Cyber Range network designs, that meet requirements and takes into account takes into account target environment, performance and security requirements, and existing systems as per the Engineering Management System.
- Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and considers target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.
- Creates solutions which balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.
- Identifies security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommends changes or enhancements.
- Demonstrated experience as a Network Engineer on medium to large scale projects
- Demonstrated experience with current networking technologies including WAN routing protocols and VPNs
- Experience creating high level/low level designs and reference architecture
