This role works to the Project or Program lead, the program/project teams and other key stakeholders. It is a leadership role that is responsible for the management of benefits and as the need arises, external Business Transformation Partners
- Development and manage the benefits realisation for the programs/projects, including the development of the benefits management approach, benefits maps and profiles.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop the change management strategy for each of the programs/projects, their associated change/communications plans, and related artefacts.
- Implement the change management strategies and the ensure the execution of the individual plans.
- Supervise external Business Transformation Partner/s to ensure deliverable are of the required quality and in alignment with the objectives of the programs/projects.
- Facilitate workshops and conduct impact assessments with the program/project teams and stakeholders, including the Business Outcome Owner and Senior Responsible Owner of the programs/projects, to inform planning and execution.
- Guide and coach program team members and relevant stakeholders to build a change management capability in their respective business areas and help improve the change management maturity of the organisation.
- This position may involve the supervision of staff
- Highly developed knowledge and experience in the delivery of digital projects and programs within a government context is mandatory.
- Tertiary level qualifications and/or certification in Project Management, Program Management and Portfolio Management are mandatory. These include one or more of: Diploma of Project Management, PRINCE2 Foundations, PRINCE2 Agile Foundations, Management of Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundations.
- Certification in Change Management is mandatory. This includes Prosci Change Management, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Change Management Specialist (CMS) or other industry recognised certification.
- Demonstrated leadership in organisational change management within an ICT/digital setting.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of change management strategies and plans, and benefits management.
- Excellent engagement and presentation skills with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior executives and vendors.
- Excellent high level written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with influence and from a position of expert knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide project and program management professionals in change and benefits management.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and multiple priorities and demands, including the ability to deliver under tight timeframes.
