Summary:
Responsible for Administration of the company’s safety & environmental legislative compliance requirements. Handling all safety matters on site in collaboration with relevant leading hand or manager and assisting them to achieve a safe workplace.

Summary:
Responsible for Administration of the company’s safety & environmental legislative compliance requirements. Handling all safety matters on site in collaboration with relevant leading hand or manager and assisting them to achieve a safe workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Operations Manager, Office Administrator, Weighbridge Admin and Maintenance Manager.
- Carry out company inductions of new employees as per the New Employee Induction procedure.
- Carry out company inductions of sub-contractors and labour hire candidates.
- Manage all aspects of the MSDS Register
- Lead & assist in the development & review of company SWMS and procedures.
- Review existing policies, SWMS & procedures and measures, and update according to legislation and/or new processes.
- Initiate, book and organise WHS training (new & refresher courses) of employees and executives in consultation with the operations and/or System Manager. Book and organise any other internal/external training as requested by Operations Manager.
- Act as the Primary First aid officer on site.
- Take minutes at the weekly management meeting, complete send out to all meeting members an updated version by the end of the same day.
- Prepare and provide information for the weekly Safety meeting.
- Maintain a record of all safety equipment and/or items allocated to employees via company induction, TMS record and other registers.
- Maintain all PPE stock.
- Complete all Health & Safety records maintenance for employees through the Wageloch program.
