Our client is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer to join their team in Canberra. Under guidance from the Engineering Lead, you will actively document, implement and test product enhancements and bug fixes for the departments products.

- Contract until December 1st 2024
Rate Range (per hour ex GST):
- $85-95 per hour
Security Requirements
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement enhancements and correct bugs within the existing product
- Work as part of a team to deliver work against a schedule
- Work within a complex environment with many key stakeholders
- Produce various technical and non-technical documentation in support of development and testing efforts
- Work within the technical governance frameworks, specifically with a focus on ICT and cyber security such as the Information Security Manual (ISM)
- Ability to communicate complex technical and operational subjects to team leads
- Perform code reviews
- Strong problem solving skills
- Demonstrated strong experience with:
o Linux
o Ansible
o Containerisation and virtualisation technologies
oGit - Demonstrated experience with networking
- Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology or a related discipline
- Certified SAFe® Practitioner (mandatory for all personnel - can be completed upon engagement).
