Overview:
You will be responsible for developing software, integrating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment. The role will need intermediate software development skills and a proven ability to work within an integrated team of technical/non-technical personnel. The program of work has multiple projects which range in size. The successful candidate may be required to work across one or more of these projects.

SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered. Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification, and any other client requested checks.

- Develop software using a variety of software languages and development environments.
- Deliver scripting using a variety of languages (e.g. javascript) and secondary skills (e.g. SQL).
- Contribute to the delivery of high quality analysis and User Experience outcomes.
- Adhere to software engineering processes and contribute to software engineering process improvement.
- Work effectively as a productive member of an integrated Agile team to meet a prioritised schedule of work.
- Document technical processes and write documentation in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Support and facilitate productive working relationships by working cohesively and flexibly with the developer team, the broader program team, key business partners and stakeholder groups.
